  • Alignments
  • Scope & Sequence

Carefully connect the learning across grades so that students can build new understanding onto foundations built in previous years. TouchMath offers alignments by page and by standard.

  • By Standard – This format is for remedial use for needed proficiency with a given standard.

  • By Page - This format helps with teacher planning. Each page is aligned to each of the standards that are addressed through the activities and instructional strategies.

Each is laid out in a PDF document — just click one of the links below to download.

Scope & Sequence Guide

We want to help you build strong foundations: solid conceptual understanding, a high degree of procedural skill and fluency, and the ability to apply math inside and outside the classroom. We provide three breakdowns of the kindergarten through 2nd grade scope and sequence.

  • A comprehensive exhibit of clusters, standards, skills, and activities.
  • A simplified version, including the clusters, standards, and skills.
  • A third demonstrates the clusters, standards, and activities.

Upper Grades

Scope & Sequence Guide

TouchMath provides this Upper Grades Program Overview and Scope and Sequence to present the story of the TouchMath approach to math standards for students with learning disabilities. The standards apply broadly to individual states, Common Core State Standards, and various versions of standards from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. The TouchMath Upper Grades Program, Sixth Edition, provides support for individual learning by presenting information in multiple ways and by ensuring students have the appropriate amount of meaningful repetition to master the skills. Both the content and the activities are scaffolded with small steps to ensure students understand and apply relationships to master skills. The focus is simple: Learn and apply strategies to solve problems. The use of TouchPoints as kinesthetic and/or visual cues, properties of operations, and relationships among number representations are each presented to find the match for each student.
