A growing body of research continues to validate the TouchMath system and point to a common conclusion: our multisensory approach and focus on the Concrete-Representational-Abstract sequential strategy improves math comprehension and mastery. In order for students to conquer math with our resources, we are here to make sure educators are well-prepared to teach with them. Learn more about the research behind TouchMath.
TouchMath University approaches professional learning differently. Our programs are interactive and combine job-embedded knowledge with ongoing support for general and SPED educators, leaders, and administrators. We believe if we give educators the skills and knowledge they need to help students gain a better conceptual understanding of math, everyone wins.
Our team of special education and math experts work with educators and administrators to tailor an onsite, virtual, and blended professional learning program that provides the right mix of curriculum implementation and instructional support. Watch a Mini Math Lesson.
TouchMath offers live professional learning that is fully customized to meet the needs of your school or district.

It is designed for current users who need to recalibrate their technique and/or learn how to use new Touchmath features. Refresher is perfect for staff who have been using TouchMath but want to practice their skills and knowledge with TouchMath experts before the start of the school year or before a deeper dive into an advanced instruction or math content class. Topics include TouchMath techniques, new features, planning, assessment, lesson plan components, how to access just in time support videos, etc.
TouchMath Pre-K
Educators learn the components of the pre-k program and how to implement them. They will make connections between the program, learning trajectories, the Standards for Mathematical Practice, and the NCTM Standards and NAEYC Practices. Implementing learning goals, planning for instruction and multiple entry points for students are also covered. Educators leave ready to use print and/or digital resources to prepare for a week of instruction.
Prerequisites: None
TouchMath K – 2
Educators learn the components of the kindergarten through grade two TouchMath programs specific to the district adoption, alignment to core program and differentiation. They will make connections between the program, learning trajectories, the Standards for Mathematical Practice, and the NCTM Standards and CEC Practices. Implementing learning goals, planning for instruction and multiple entry points for students are also covered. Educators leave ready to use print and/or digital resources to prepare for a week of instruction.
Prerequisites: None
TouchMath 3 – Pre-Algebra
Educators learn the components of the grade 3 through pre-algebra TouchMath programs specific to the district adoption, alignment to core program(s) and differentiation.

TouchMath PRO Foundations
This 2-hour webinar with a 1-hour followup is designed to provide TouchMath PRO users with the ability to deploy the platform and use it for instructional planning and implementation.
Prerequisites: Jumpstart or Refresher; any of the Grade Band Workshops (Pre-K, K – 2, or 3 – Pre-Algebra).
TouchMath Assessment Training
A focus on the collection, analysis and evaluation of each student’s mathematical development. Using TouchMath’s pre- and posttests and other formative and summative assessment tools teachers will determine entry points for learning and success in learning identified skills and concepts.
Prerequisites: Jumpstart or Refresher; any of the Grade Band Workshops (Pre-K, K – 2, or 3 – Pre-Algebra).
Using Data to Plan Your TouchMath Instruction
A focus on procedures for efficiently and effectively collecting, sharing, and using TouchMath and other assessment data to plan classroom instruction. Individual and group specific data will be used to support planning and determine instructional strategies for student progress.
Prerequisites: Jumpstart or Refresher; any of the Grade Band Workshops (Pre-K, K – 2, or 3 – Pre-Algebra).
Making TouchMath Data Work in Your PLC
A focus on procedures for efficiently and effectively collecting, sharing, and using assessment data in a PLC format. Group specific data will be used to support planning for student progress.
Prerequisites: Jumpstart or Refresher; any of the Grade Band Workshops (Pre-K, K – 2, or 3 – Pre-Algebra).
TouchMath Accommodations, Modifications, and Lesson Planning
A focus on strategy based approaches for effectively utilizing the accommodations and modifications identified in an individual student(s) 504 or IEP when planning for Touch Math instruction.
Prerequisites: Jumpstart or Refresher; any of the Grade Band Workshops (Pre-K, K – 2, or 3 – Pre-Algebra).
TouchMath and the MTSS/RtI Process
Focus on how TouchMath addresses the three tiers of RtI to support all students. Although these terms are sometimes used interchangeably there are important differences. TouchMath is used as a powerful tool to provide direct services, supports, and interventions for at-risk students.
Prerequisites: Jumpstart or Refresher; any of the Grade Band Workshops (Pre-K, K – 2, or 3 – Pre-Algebra).
TouchMath in the Inclusive Classroom
TouchMath in the Inclusive Classroom is a 3-hour instructional module with an additional 3 hours of virtual coaching and support that cover best practices for providing TouchMath instruction in an inclusive classroom.
Prerequisites: Jumpstart or Refresher; any of the Grade Band Workshops (Pre-K, K – 2, or 3 – Pre-Algebra).
TouchMath and Distance Learning
A focus on how to shift from in-person to distance learning while using TouchMath resources. Whether students are supported through online platforms or physical packets and with the support of their family and caregivers, all while maintaining a high standard of instruction.
Prerequisites: Jumpstart or Refresher; any of the Grade Band Workshops (Pre-K, K – 2, or 3 – Pre-Algebra).
TouchMath for Administrators
Introduces leaders how to observe evidence of effective math instruction and support curriculum implementation.
